Cooking Made Simple.... How To Cook Gbegiri Soup

HOW TO PREPARE GBEGIRI SOUP.... We all know the best way to a man's heart is through is stomach.... Give him good food and keep your marriage tight.... Gbegiri Soup is a Yoruba native soup and its so delicious... Read through to get it done. INGREDIENTS *300g Black Eyed or Brown Beans. *2 small smoked Mackerel/Titus (optional) *2tablespoon ground crayfish. *2big stock cubes. *2-3 cooking spoon palm oil. *.Pepper and salt (to taste). Things to do before you start cook the Gbegiri Soup. 1. Remove the beans coat and soak the beans for about 3 hours. soaking the beans makes the beans soft so that it cooks in less time and you wont need to use potash to cook the beans. If you want to use peeled and dried beans sold in stores you will need to soak it overnight. 2.Prepare other ingredients: pound the pepper and grind the crayfish. Cooking Directions 1.Put the peeled and soaked beans into a sizeable pot, Pour enough water to cover the beans and start cooking at medium heat. 2. Cook the beans till they become so soft that it melts when you mash it with your fingers. This should take about an hour. Remember to top up when needed. Ensure the water is always at the same level as the beans while cooking. With this procedure you will have the right amount of water in the soup when the beans is done. 3. Mash the very soft beans with a masher. You can also use your kitchen blender to blend the cooked beans for a very smooth consistency. it is not advisable to wait for the beans to cool down before blending it, therefore blend it and continue cooking. 4. When you okay with the smoothness of the beans, add the smoked fish if you are using it, its not compulsory but it add to the flavour of the soup. 5. Add salt, pepper, crayfish, stock cube and palm oil. 6.Cover the pot and cook at medium heat for about five minutes or till the palm oil is well combined with the rest of the ingredients. At this stage the colour of the oil changes from red to yellow. 7. Stir from time to time so that it does not burn. 8. The Gbegiri Soup is ready... Serve the soup with Ewedu Soup, and any of Beef,Chicken or Fish Stew... Eat with Amala, fufu etc.. Why not try it this weekend.... Good luck Fablast Cuisine.. 08136243990, 08083527334 www.fablastconcepts.blogspot.com Facebook Page: m.facebook.com/FabulousConceptseventPlanningdecorations

EVENT TIPS.... GETTING YOUR EVENT RIGHT...

EVENT TIPS....GETTING YOUR EVENT RIGHT.... No matter how close you re to ur friends and families allowing them to coordinate d activities on ur event day is a big risk if they are not trained to do so, dis is because they only have ideas, they do not have the professional training to do so WHO IS AN EVENT PLANNER.... In a Simple English he or she is someone who organizes event professionally. You can call them Event Coordinators or Event Consultants but they are generally called Event Planners, Using Wedding Planners has a Case Study.... WHAT THEY DO 1. They liaise with Clients i.e bride nd groom to ascertain their precised requirement for the event to fit into their budget. 2. They liaise with d client to get the precised guest list. Always add a 100 or more to that list unless u wanna do strictly by iv.... Planners have a way of doing this. 3. They serve as a liaison between the client (bride nd groom) and every service provider (vendor) that will participate in the events... etc.. 4. They are the main point of contact for the events 5. They are involved in every aspect of the event ranging from the planning, get d venue, hiring vendors on behalf of d clients and lots more.... There main job is to advocate the wishes of the client; however offending guest and vendors in d process is not a good quality of an event planner, The best event planners are able to be firm when needed, while maintaining a pleasant disposition and a sense of humor. No matter the amount of money spent on an event if all your guest were not well treated or attended to, that event is not successful. This is why you need the expertise of a planner to achieve this ..... All event needs to be properly planned either its a big or small one...(wedding, baby showers, birthdays, corporate events, burial etc...) As far as you re expecting guests the event must be planned. A wedding case study; you might try getting the planning right but do you remember you will not want to be a worn out bride on your wedding day... All your friends and family will be so occupied that they might not notice all the guest invited, if you re lucky enough to put a brother in care of your drinks, he will be busy entertaining the people he is familiar with forgetting that every guest in that event is important .... Giving some guest preferential treatment right in front of other guest is another mistake made in almost all event... A professional planner will advise you on how to treat all guest as important even when you have a VIP... I do not wanna bore you watch out for another event tip I will be writing about...
