EVENT TIPS....GETTING YOUR EVENT RIGHT.... No matter how close you re to ur friends and families allowing them to coordinate d activities on ur event day is a big risk if they are not trained to do so, dis is because they only have ideas, they do not have the professional training to do so WHO IS AN EVENT PLANNER.... In a Simple English he or she is someone who organizes event professionally. You can call them Event Coordinators or Event Consultants but they are generally called Event Planners, Using Wedding Planners has a Case Study.... WHAT THEY DO 1. They liaise with Clients i.e bride nd groom to ascertain their precised requirement for the event to fit into their budget. 2. They liaise with d client to get the precised guest list. Always add a 100 or more to that list unless u wanna do strictly by iv.... Planners have a way of doing this. 3. They serve as a liaison between the client (bride nd groom) and every service provider (vendor) that will participate in the events... etc.. 4. They are the main point of contact for the events 5. They are involved in every aspect of the event ranging from the planning, get d venue, hiring vendors on behalf of d clients and lots more.... There main job is to advocate the wishes of the client; however offending guest and vendors in d process is not a good quality of an event planner, The best event planners are able to be firm when needed, while maintaining a pleasant disposition and a sense of humor. No matter the amount of money spent on an event if all your guest were not well treated or attended to, that event is not successful. This is why you need the expertise of a planner to achieve this ..... All event needs to be properly planned either its a big or small one...(wedding, baby showers, birthdays, corporate events, burial etc...) As far as you re expecting guests the event must be planned. A wedding case study; you might try getting the planning right but do you remember you will not want to be a worn out bride on your wedding day... All your friends and family will be so occupied that they might not notice all the guest invited, if you re lucky enough to put a brother in care of your drinks, he will be busy entertaining the people he is familiar with forgetting that every guest in that event is important .... Giving some guest preferential treatment right in front of other guest is another mistake made in almost all event...
